What began as a ten minute oral storytelling to a public audience over two years ago is now a 384 page book! Yes, it’s about guys. Guys doing manly things. And some of them are Gay.

Admittedly, frank talk about homosexuality to a mixed audience: straight men and women, GLBTQ, no regard to race, color, creed or national origin… I wasn’t sure if I’d get hooted of the stage.

I was about half-way when I got to a plot-twist, several people came to the edge of their seats, and a few scattered gasps from the gals told me they were taking the journey with me. I was relieved to get high praise at evening’s end.

Then I tossed it on the back burner…so many things end up there… until late last year over dinner with a friend in beautiful Prague when I vowed to complete the story as it should be told.

Gay, curious, queer, straight, women, men, military cordially invited… I welcome all to read about some tough things: facing yourself and knowing who you really are…accepting what you find, and standing firm against those who do not, or choose not to, understand. And equally so, finding true love. Yeah, the real thing… in a real way.

I hope you enjoy this journey… the humor, the angst, the excitement, and the moments that wet grown men’s eyes. Come for the sex but stay for the message in the Incident at Zhenbao.
